The Zoo is open daily, rain or shine. In the case of impending weather such as a blizzard warning, the Zoo will post closings/delays on our website and Facebook page.
I've never seen it closed due to rain, but I never went during a thunder storm.

Most do stay open unless severe weather hits.
It's only closed if it's raining heavily
Call the zoo if rain is expected... it depends on how heavy the rain potential for thunderstorm etc...
