Definitely, lots of spots you can get off the trail to the side and find a small view. The lower Pinnacle is also usually less busy and a good spot for a picnic
Yes you can but again as stated above the time of year may or may not be best for it.
I wouldn't recommend it, bears are active in the area and they did have an attack maybe 5 miles from here a little over 3 weeks ago.
