How old do you have to be to pick apples?

I have never known of anyone just going to pick their own.

Everytime we go no one actually is allowed to go apple picking. Idk if thats what they tell some people or if no one is really allowed to go picking. They have an apple house thats an open aired barn basically and you get your apples already picked there.
