Hey just moved from another state and was wondering if I need a permit to purchase and use any type of fireworks? State where I came from required permit so just curious about the law here.

No there is no need for any permits, To purchase or use fireworks in Wa. State! However there are certain citys that have made it illegal to light off certain items! Mainly aerial type items and the bigger explosives/bombs!! Other than that you are free to purchase and light whatever you like! You can buy and light here by the Muckleshoot casino! We have a lighting area on the west side of the hill and u can light until 10pm on the weekdays right NOW! Weekdends lighting times stop @ midnight!

Depending on the city you are in will determine what you can light off and where as well. Since 9-11 some things have been made illegal. For the most part, anything you buy over the counter at a stand is legal. Just be sure to read the rules of where you live.
