Dogs are able to walk through the whole park, including Owen Beach, the Marina and the Dunes. All dogs are required to be leashed. However, there is an off leash dog park located near Fort Nisqually. The dog park has a fenced off area for smaller dogs. Pt. Defiance park is an awesome place to bring dogs.
