Point defiance has plenty if picnic tables and grills all throughout the park . there are some that have the gazebo( as I call them). We have had graduation parties and baby showers at different spots there. Had a great time. There is a spot on 5 mile drive towards the end I forgot what that site is call but the gazebo has a serving area inside. We always had a great time at point defiance no matter what we were there for. . hope u enjoy it as well.
During the summer u may need to reserve a covered area. I think you can go on the metro parks website or call to do that. There are plenty of open pits though and you can always bring your own bbq
Second picnic area past the xoo on 5 mile drive. Cooked there 2 weeks ago. Watch out for raccoons.
Owen Beach is a great place. BBQs there and lots of tables. Plus a gorgeous view!
They have covered areas with seating. I'm not sure if the sites have grills, but I believe they have them. Not sure if they're in good working shape though.
