Because the entire supply chain for furniture has been disrupted by COVID. Many furnishing stores have lead times that have been effected.

Has to do with pandemic. Shipping has been delayed. Then having issues getting them off the boat if you Google it you can see on different ports there are big ships just waiting in the harbors to be unloaded
Like a lot of businesses the number of employees to get stock to the stores is probably the answer.
