Can someone tell me how the astronomer’s field works? Is it crowded? Are there campsites? I know no white lights or campfires are allowed. How many places are there and is it easy to get in on a Saturday even thought you can’t reserve online?

Yes you can enter n need to pay $15 cash. One thing that once you enter then you cant leave before sunrise.

Not crowded. They don't reserve all the sites to keep distancing I think.there are 20ish spots I think. Just call and reserve. It's a nice place.
