thank you. for your answer. and what are dubias will a leopard Gecko eat them ?
Hello there! I breed insects and the problem you face is very common. The reason your crickets die so quick is, just like other insects, crickets have a high mortality rate. In other words, many die before they mature and once they mature their days are limited. They make up for this, the same way as other insects, by having thousands of babies at once. So unfortunately, it is just natural, your crickets are not going to last long. So what you can do, if you are not already, is put them in a large, well ventilated enclosure, out of direct sunlight and feed them fresh orange slices. This will help nourish them to keep starvation off the table. The other thing I suggest is buying insects one week at a time. This will leave more survivors for your animals and save you in the long run (if your are not driving miles out of your way to get them). Finally, you can try hardier options such as mealworms, superworms, or dubias. I hope this helps.
