I have never had a red ticket, the same restrictions apply to the AMC passes.In addition you cant use passes for new releases for 2weeks.
An AMC Theater Red Ticket allows you into any movie *except* the ones distributed by The Walt Disney Co., which includes Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilms Ltd. (includes Star Wars) and others.
