Most keyboards aren't repaired in the states. Electrical failure is fairly rare. I've never run into it in my career. If pop was spilled on it you can disassemble it and was the parts, letting them dry thoroughly before using them. That said all the keyboard issues I've had were 1. driver, 2. OS, or 3. Port related, it was never the keyboards fault. I recommend the Logitech k400. It's encrypted, and basically pocket sized the battery (2 AA) lasts for months.
