Might I add that in all my years of camping and exploring the south-eastern United States I've never found a better organized park. The campgrounds are clean, well kept, and very well thought out. The sites are very nice and seem to all be set up for either tent or hammock. With the exception of Double Shoals. But even though they don't have posts set for hammocks, if you're adaptive, you can still make it work. And actually, its my favorite. Hope all this helps.
Yes. Until the first Monday in December. We have 4 parks with full service year round camping and all our primitive camping is year round.
