My 4 year old dog has totally changed within months. She is now crawling at my 8 year old child and will not go outside or eat for my child or husband. I would need to get rid of her to protect my child. How do I go about giving or a new home.

What breed

You can surrender her to the humane society for a small fee. They will do their best to fix her up (unless you take her to a vet because that sounds like maybe physical maybe just mental for a dog to turn after 4 years). The humane society will ask you some questions, help, then see if she is eligible for adoption or put in a home until someone comes along. That's the best scenario I can imagine. Good Luck!
