So yeah, I have loved Saz's for years, having eaten their food at Summerfest every year I've gone. In my eyes, their sampler platter is an institution. I was in the area this past weekend and decided to go to their restaurant with my wife and a friend. It was not busy at all for a Saturday night, which I found a bit odd, but hey... We started off with the festival combo and I apologize, as we started digging in before I got a decent pic, it was that inviting. My wife ordered the BBQ loaded mac and cheese while I got the Red, White, and Blue Burger on a pretzel bun. My burger was cooked a perfect medium rare, just like I ordered, and it was a fantastic greasy burger! My wife's mac and cheese was fantastically creamy and delicious as well. If there is one criticism, it was almost too much food for us. The portions were really good size and that is not a bad thing, but they were almost too big. Not complaining though! Overall, it was a fun time and the atmosphere was great.

The service was outstanding, very nice and helpful. Restaurant was very clean but very dark and we went around 4:00. The food was good, but not great. The person I went with and I shared the combo plate as an app and the chicken and rib entrée and that we were full. So they definitely give you good portion sizes. Would definitely go back to try a burger.

Food has been delicious. Have had the gumbo and Buffalo chicken wrap and have not been disappointed. Gumbo is slightly salty, but nothing that a bite of cornbread can't overcome
