Purchasing a ticket at the counter allows you entrance aftet the ticket is in your possession. Purchasing a ticket in advance for a selected event or special venue does not allow you entrance before the date/time printed on the ticket.
Time on ticket? You can't get in before they open the gates. After that you can get in whenever you like.

We did, but it wasnt that busy. They may be more restricted as the season gets going.
General admission hours are 9am to 5pm. You can enter at any time during those hours up to 4:30pm.
They check the ticket at the gate. I think they limit the number of people in the park at the same time.

I dont think so. In each hour there are waves of people lined up to go inside. Safe bet to show up on listed hour
