You can use the drones to the full extent as there isn't a restriction on them but it wouldn't hurt to get permission if you include normal people in your video
It's open to the public so I dont see why not if u dont mind all the people in ur video but it wouldnt hurt to check up with the Santa Monica Police dap. And ask them a few question if u wanted to have the peir just for the video.good luck
Yes , you can use the drones as there in no restrictions on them. For a music video , if you need to make special arragnments and need public disturbance to be avoided from crowd then you need to take a special permission from Santa Monica Pier Police Department.
Drone is ok. But I think City wants a license to operate or something like that. Could be wrong.
As far as I know you cant fly drones over people without special permission in usa.
