It's a rest stop for travelers, not a camp ground, park, or a picnic area.
There isnt barbeques, and no camping area, but there are picnic tables, shade trees and restrooms available. Driving to the back parking area will find less traffic for a more peaceful picnic. This is a rest area off the interstate. There is one north bound and south bound depending on how your approaching from north or south. You can drive thru, if you dont find a table youd like to use, get back on the freeway and exit at next off ramp, and go back the opposite direction and try the other rest stop. You can do this in both directions with only a few miles travel to exit and turn back.
