The orientation and creating of the home went very well. However, once the papers were signed the problems started: Adair people dropped the ball, time frames were not kept, communications were poor. There are a few instances where we feel Adair would not do what we paid them for as part of the package. The end cost is a moving target because common sense items are omitted from the plan. We considered dropping Adair because of the frustrations and the increasing (above the contract) costs but because of time constraints we stayed on. We did call customer service twice for help with the process. Finally, we had a meeting with someone who said they wanted us happy with Adair and to feel good about our decision to use them. He said all the right things and he meant them! Our experience has been very good since that meeting. The building of the house has gone according to plan and we feel they are doing a quality job. Our site superintendents have been responsive and great to work with. This process had some very difficult times but Adair has worked at improving, which is impressive, and they have done a great job. We still recommend that a person beware of costly omissions from Adair's drafting department.

Adair was a great team to work with from start to finish. With the process of building being so daunting and stressful, Adair managed to take great care walking us through the steps and the various departments involved helped in making the transition to various stages feel seemless. Each stage came with an expert who took time to help us understand what to expect and when. The communication loop was awesome and we could depend on Adair to address our concerns or questions as if it were their home being built. In the end, our minds were blown and our expectations were exceeded by far through the awesome team that is Adair. We are absolutely in love with our home!

We finished building our Adair Home, "The Blakely" model, in January 2019, and we couldn't be happier with the final product. Our original goal was to find a larger home on some acreage, but everything in our budget was a major fixer-upper. With Adair, we learned that we could build a new home on land for the same price. We loved being able to customize our home and put our money where it was most important to us. Our whole Adair team did a fantastic job guiding us through this complicated and lengthy process. We were impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and communication. They also did a great job coordinating with us when we wanted to simultaneously do work ourselves, like build a deck, add a woodstove, and soundproof the interior walls. We're proud of our modern, efficient, and beautiful Adair Home!
