how high must I be in the hotel tower to see the Lake

Hard to see. Top floor. Take a drive. East by summer fest grounds

I believe you probably see parts of it at the fifth floor but you must be facing east

I would imagine 15th floor or higher and you need an east facing room

That's a question that only the hotel can answer, because of views & prices..
