Say you're from out of state. Then they will give you a free hotel to encourage them to take the trip.

I actually use to work at poto in the call center an they only give the folks rooms from out of town to really encourage them to come and they only give them certain days, other than that yu have to spend a certain amount of money within different times frames annnnnd you have to see that you come MORE THAN ENOUGH
