Most of the parks have basketball court,it may be a reason unmarking that after locating the required space availability the court might have formed as per knowledge.
The basketball courts are not showing up because generally speaking b-ball games can and have ran past sundown. For the most part the park shuts down when the sun does. This is not set in stone as there are many stragglers that are just moseying out on their own time. The occasional concert in the park may be winding down as well,but never really lasts too much longer after dark. To provide the public times and locations of said courts causes the potential for a wide variety of general loitering that may or may not lead to a harmful situation revolving around either verbal or physical violence and or violent activity. The city doesn't either see the good in what this outlet may have, or on the other hand they just don't think its worth it period. I going with not being worth the work for them being as they have already shut down the full-sized court that used to be there years ago.
