It's not enclosed. There are trails in the woods, a pond for swimming, and then a large open field for running. The field is away from roads/houses etc... so the dogs can run loose there.
Catching them or not really depends on you and your dog... But you do have a LOT of space to chase them. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed, and you can leave the dog on leash if you're too worried.
The main parking lot is at the end of a dead end residential street so even if your dog was loose they'd have to try to get to a road with decent traffic.
You need to have some voice control over your dog but it is meant as an off leash park.
Great for dogs unless they bolt to follow their nose. Tons of open space, trails, water, and woods, but no fence or barrier.
It's all open space, i have seen plenty of dogs off leash.
Its not an enclosed space. You can have your dog off leash after crossing a small bridge; the river acts as sort of a natural barrier. Most people let their dogs run around by the dam or near the hill, but I've never seen a dog run past the bridge to the lot without their owner.
Yes!! :)
They are allowed to be off leash though it is not enclosed.
But are you able to catch them before they could get to a road??
