Although this is not the most well-maintained golf course, it is enjoyable and fun to play. My friends and I gather here regularly and enjoy the course. However, the experience is tainted by the clerk who works the reception desk - she is unprofessional and does not seem well trained in customer service. As a long-time golfer, this is the first time I have encountered someone who is so rude and unwilling to do her job. All other clerks and staff at the public courses (e.g. Ponkapoag) are friendly and make the check-in process very simple. The clerk at Leo, however, is rude and pre-occupied every time we arrive. She doesn't seem to want to be bothered, and while most places will let us go through early if there are no other groups and tee times, she is not willing to be flexible with times at all even when the course is empty and no one else is waiting to play. Again, I've never had this experience at other courses - I hope there is discussion to improve her working in open mind.

Ive never left a single review in my life but I want to spare other golfers what we just went through. The worst course I’ve ever played. If you like fairway divots in your greens and hard pan for your fairways this is your spot. $45 is $44 too many to have spent on this afternoon. Shockingly bad.

Not a good course at all. The course itself was bad, half of the greens were dirt and sand as opposed to actual grass, and it was a poorly maintained golf course overall. On top of that, they ran out of carts by the time we got there, which forced us to walk. At first they only charged us 9 holes instead of 18, didn’t charge for the cart, and said to check back on the turn to see if more carts were available, which they would have given to us for free. Once we checked back with them on the turn and they had a cart available, they tried to charge us for it, gave us a hard time, and we’re flat out rude and unprofessional. Terrible customer service, and overall not a good course.

Course was in okay condition. Greens were extremely slow, lots of dead patches on the greens and fairways, tee boxes needed a lot of love, on the bright side, the fairways were wide open, the rough was okay, bunkers were decent and the prices were pretty fair. Overall, if you are looking for a decent course to learn to play golf on or just practice for fun, this is the place.
