Yes, right next to the depot is a nice little park where people can have a picnic. There are no picnic tables there, but the grass is nice and there are benches and cement seating. You can also go to the park where you posted this question and there are picnic and grilling facilities.
If you're talking about the Depot Park on Niles Blvd, the whole Park is a beautiful picnic spot, but there are no picnic tables. Plenty of grass, park benches and cement platforms to sit on and eat. Pick up some Mexican food at the Niles taco truck a 1/2-block away and view the shops, people & beautiful hills.
