No. Dam releases are on the weekends. Trips are everyday of the week.
During the summer they do damn release on the weekends. The water level was very good. But they do rafting trips during the week as well.
You can go on a weekday for a first time or family style experience. Its recommended to take the level 1 trip before a rapid release trip if you haven't done it before. It gives you a few rapids and a chance to learn to steer and paddle through them as well as 4 opportunities to swim. Also, you MUST try the home made root beer at the end.
