Is there any public parking if you just want to fish for trout?

It's a primitive campground and picnic area. All roads are gravel, there are plenty of areas you can pull over and park.

Yes, as others have said there is parking for six to eight vehicles near the picnic area by the creek. Additionally, there are another five or six spaces at the north end of the campground by the open picnic area which consists of a small field with a few picnic tables, a horseshoe throwing area, and a grill.

There is parking for about 8 vehicles, nice scenic spot, water was low for fishing when I was there August 2020
