NPS Burnwood Campground

This campsite is only for large parties of 8 or more with permits ($75). No signs saying this unless you go to one of the 2 pavilions. open field has no signs.

Great place to catch the Burnwood trail. But camping there is by reservation only, one of the few in the park. Otherwise great place with pavilions to come and hang out for the day, maybe have a picnic. Parking lot is decent in size, but can get full and confusing when there are a good number of cars in it.

New River gorge employee from the center matched me up with this trail with my stroller. Very nice
