There was a restaurant called the Hawk's Nest Café on the Hawk's Nest Rd, but it burned down in 2002. It was owned by my ex- boyfriend's uncle, Ron Babcock. They're lovely people, and it was a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy a meal. I worked there, trust me.
There used to be a restaurant on the Hawks Nest but it’s not there anymore.
No it was a very beautiful road cut into a mountain with beautiful views
Hawks Nest is a very short twisty road cut into the eastern cliff face of the Delaware river. It's very similar to the goat trail that's on the eastern side of the Hudson River near bear mountain crossing. Both have stellar views of the rivers they tower over. set your expectations accordingly. There are only a half dozen Twisties on each and takes a minute to pass of you don't put your feet to the ground. It's easy to do both in a day and make a great motorcycle day ride.
No. There might be places to eat in the towns around, but that's not a restaurant.
