We spent a few fun hours doing all of the activities. The cave was self-guided which was nice. We enjoyed exploring at our own pace. The animals at the petting zoo came RIGHT UP to us. There is a real fire truck near the playground that the kids can play on and explore. Very interesting for kids to open the doors, play with the steering wheel, and press buttons. Nice place for families to do activities together!

OK dude straight up this was a really awesome tour I've seen the caverns before but I didn't get it or cared because i was a kid who went on a field trip when I was in school back in the day but I didn't appreciate them whatsoever. Now I can say these got the attention they deserved. If I was you I'd come check these out because it's awesome!

Great for sightseeing for adults and kids. Caves are very interesting experience. It’s a bit cool inside as it’s around 60 ft underground and a bit wet, so make sure to wear proper footwear. There a a zoo outside, other entertainment for children.

*Warning a lot of stairs to get in and out of the cavern!* but if you are looking for an adventure this is a great place to go! What a sight to see!! Absolutely beautiful and a lot of stuff to do from a maze, golf, petting zoo, gem mining and the carven! As well as a pretty large playground with a whole fire truck for kids to explore. Bathrooms were very clean as well!

It takes about a half an hour, but you can do a self-guided tour and take as long as you like.
Yes, it is open from 4/1 - 10/31.
You can use a stroller pretty much anywhere but on the cavern tour. It's underground and has lots of steps and some very narrow spots to pass through.
Mmm....will they show u a map of where they come from. But they seem real. My kids found a couple shark teeth Fool's gold fossils that was real that I know for sure.
Their hours right now are 930- 500, 7 days a week
$9.95 for adults and $6.95 for children
Those caverns have been so commercialized and sterilised nothing but tourists live there. Bring cash, wait for the guide, don't wander off and the gift store is a scam.
Dogs are not allowed in the actual caves. But they can go in the outside area where there are picnic tables and a playground. I would not suggest bringing your dog here unless it is a service dog. I hope you found this helpful!
If you select rates in their menu it gives you pricing for each activity
No, you have to walk down 58 steps to get into the cave
Call the company and ask them directly. That is where you are going to benefit the most with this line of questing. Also, as a Native American, I gladly payed for my time to explore and walk the cavern. I have no issue paying them to maintain this landmark.
No. It is a steep walk down and back up. Caverns are very small n winding
The parking is free and there isn't a price for admission. You do have to pay for the individual activities that you choose to do. Petting zoo is 4/person. Mini golf is 3/person. The treasure hunt maze is 5/person. The caverns are 9.95 an adult and I'm not sure for kids. The gem mining depends on the type of bag you buy but I think the lowest bag was 5.99 then an Arrowhead bag for 8.99, an emerald bag for 9.99 and it increased from there. The play areas for kids were free. Hope that helps!
Beside being a damp 55 degrees, it's a little soggy and slick. I was fine in running shoes, shorts and a long sleeve shirt.
Yes
No- they have a stream for gold mining, but there are no bodies of water.
Be sure to pay the small entrance fee at the gift shop first so you can get a map of the caves. Went in may and I noticed that there were many people in the cave that didn't pay so show some support for this hidden Ohio gem...
The caverns are 54 degrees year round. Jean's and a jacket are perfect. It's pretty wet in the caves, too. Consider wearing some boots for the puddles.
They charge, $9.95 for adults age 13- up $6.95 for children 3-12 2 and under are free.
200 ft I think, bring a light jacket or hoodie, it gets cool down there.
