My grandfather lived in Summit Hill, but died in a mining accident in that area in the mid to late 1920's. I am trying to find out what mine he worked at. Is there a list anywhere with the names of the miners who perished in the mining accidents?

Hello Cynthia, We do have some records of deaths from the LC&N Company however they are far from complete. It can be difficult to find a single fatality if the name of the individual mine is not known. Living in Summit Hill there are a few possible mines within close distance.
