Lol no. They don’t only kill for those reasons. My cat got captured by a disrespectful neighbor, who knew it was our cat, and he didn’t like being held. Well, he scratched one of the people at the shelter and they immediately put him down. He was fixed and it was visible. They obviously knew he was someone’s cat but that didn’t matter. They’ve also lied about having one of our cats before and acted innocent when we came to check again and found them. But that’s a different story.
Yes they do but only in rare instances if animals are near death and untreatable.
