Your surrounded by wild life sanctuary. Bears are learning where to stay away from but they roam every where up here. That's for sure.
I live here and the answer is yes. It doesn't stretch across two states?? However, there is no real room for rifle it is surounded by houses. Shotgun is okay or bow but really hunting season herw is to packed with other people who come from all over with out scouting. Too crowded. I live here and wouldn't bother walking out my back door to go. I go somewhere else. Besides not much here. Unless you duck hunt... then you're golden.

Doubtful, I don't know the official answer. The park straddles two different states so it could also depend on if you are in NY or Connecticut.
