Beautiful area to kayak. Lots of drugs turtles and vegetation. We saw eagles as well. They were beautiful to observe. On one of my trips I even had a dragonfly take a rest on my hand for a few minutes.

bears do roam the area yes but none have been seen as of recent, still be careful and alert
To the north of the boat lauch. Opposite side of the road from the Bashakill. It does not always flow when water is low.
Huge snakes as well. They jump into water. Now curious if anyone knows the type. Very large like baby anaconda lol
Your surrounded by wild life sanctuary. Bears are learning where to stay away from but they roam every where up here. That's for sure.
