We are open, they are going to blow snow every night this week as long as the weather stays below freezing, we are aiming to stay open until March 24 (if whether permits us too).
We have to see how the snow holds up this week. Tomorrow which is Tuesday and also wednesday will be 70 degree + weather in the day. Then 40-60s the rest of the week. If the fog rolls in it will hurt us even more cause fog eats up the snow, faster then rain. We have new machine to anchor into the mountain and help pull snow up to the towards the top. Naturally it comes down, plus all the skiers and snowboards its also comes down. If we have a decent amount to keeo moving to keep things insulated. My personal experience working at liberty and my own personal estimate id say the end of this month or the first weekend in march. Unless we get a cold snap meaning we might make it another week additional. But all depends on weather, fog, and wet ball point
It depends on the weather - once it gets solidly too warm, they can't stay open.
