You don't have to go outdoors to get to the Waterpark. I'm not aware of any parts of the Waterpark that are outside. There is a lazy river.
NO Lazy River at this location in Colorado Springs. Wave pool instead. Yes, you are indoors the whole time. You do walk by the front entrance/ desk to get to water park from your room, winter can be a little chilly as you come back to your room by that entrance, but not horrible. Enjoy!
I use to work there, and sadly there is NO lazy river. Also it is a very short walk through the hotel to the water park, but it's all in the same building.

There is no lazy river. Water park is only accessible from the hotel, you walk indoors all the time, it is a 7 min walk unless you stop at the stores.
