VA law states that in order for a minor to be tattooed they must be no less than 16 years of age. The minor must also have a valid state or federal I.D. with them ( e.g.: driver's license, learner's permit, DMV-I.D.-card, passport ). The legal guardian of the minor must be present during the entire tattoo process and must also provide their valid state or federal picture I.D. at the time when they are signing a release/waiver prior to the procedure being done.......So unfortunately, you will still need to age a bit more before you're legal. Sorry.
