VA law states that in order for a minor to be tattooed they must be no less than 16 years of age. The minor must also have a valid state or federal I.D. with them ( e.g.: driver's license, learner's permit, DMV-I.D.-card, passport ). The legal guardian of the minor must be present during the entire tattoo process and must also provide their valid state or federal picture I.D. at the time when they are signing a release/waiver prior to the procedure being done.......So unfortunately, you will still need to age a bit more before you're legal. Sorry.

Per current DPOR regulations, All clients must present a valid, government-issued, photo ID showing birth date in order to be tattooed. 18-year-olds are not minors, therefore, they do not need a parent present. The answer is no....Unfortunately, Orange County Tattoos will not perform a free tattoo but does offer the highest quality and standards of tattoo service at a reasonable yet industry competitive price. There has been more than once that time has been given away as a raffle prize at Stonewall Harley Davidson around the corner though.
