Arrived early and lined up outside the door, got a number and waited in my car for 90 min, still better than waiting 60 days for an appointment (why are dmv still stuck in pre vaccine procedures?) My turn at the window was quick efficient and friendly. They are doing an outstanding job in light of the situation.

Yes, but to avoid standing in a line outside for numerous hours, get there before 7am.

You do not need to make an appointment, but you do need to wake up early. When I went, I arrived at 4:30 a.m., the third one arrived at 5:20 a.m. and by the time they opened the DMV we had like 300 people in line

I do not know that answer myself but I assume so as they do all commercial related transactions. You can call &ask. But I will lyk you need to be there very early like 7am as it's a ticket lottery &once they run out they run out. There's only 2 workers at this location.

You do not need to make an appointment at the Orange DMV Select. It's one of the only three DMVs in Virginia that doesn't require appointments presently due to Covid. The queues are always long, so be prepared to stand outside for some hours before getting in.

Yes.. just be about an hour early (7am).. the line builds up quickly.. but the employees there rock n roll.. they do try their best to keep everyone moving in and out..

Be early.. cuz the line gets deep quick.. most everyone knows they're really the only ones doing it..it's worth the time and effort cuz you know you'll get your tags today not get an appointment and see you in three months.. Dang.. who has time. For that. ???
