No. You just go there , get a tocken and give the 6 point ID proof. They will give you an exam permit. Reach there by atleast 8am to get a tocken.
To be in line and get in on the same day you should be in line by 5-5:30 am and be prepared to wait. You would then be assigned a number and would have to make sure you're back when they text you. Make sure to have ALL required documents or you will have to go back another day. Check the online services first to see if you can make an appointment. For me that was way easier and took ALOT less time. To get my daughter a non driver ID and her first one, we did need to go in person. If they are 18 you won't be able to accompany them to the counters. Best to have additional address with applicant name docs like utility bills, bank statements. Hope that helps.
