No but get there very early if you want to leave early. I was there 6am and it was late. Be there around 4-4:30am no joke
No appointment needed. First check if you can renew online and save yourself the time and trouble. If you have to visit the office, you will need to get to the office early to get in line as they only process a certain number of people per day.
