The park isn't large enough, or formed correctly for skiing, however, there are other attractions in the park; such as constantly 70°F mineral spring water, spa, roman bath house, and a local history museum. Did you know the crayon was invented right here in Berkeley Springs? Just as well, a short trip south of town will land you in Cacapon state park, with its acres and acres of woods and mountainous terrain that's great for hiking. You can enjoy its natural beauty, or use its other recreational facilities including numerous sports game ballcourts and its own little resort and arcade.
