I have never gotten sick after eating at GC. Fish and other seafood tastes great when first put on the buffet. Check VA Health Dept. inspection records online if concerned.
If you have allergies to seafood itself then it might not be safe. Anyone with food allergies (including me) need to be careful at ANY BUFFET...With my food allergies I was able to eat there but had to be selective.
Never had a problem eating there. Restaurant inspection records are typically available for all eating establishments in VA.
