Had an amazing Father’s Day weekend at this campground. While it may not be as “flashy” as KOA and other upscale resorts, it’s very clean, peaceful, and great prices. The store is large with everything you could need, wonderful pool (and kiddie pool), mining, basketball, laundry facility, etc. The entire staff is first class. Not only do they escort you to your site, they assist with safely getting your rig into your spot. Beware, you cannot bring your “toys” to use (golf cart, ATV, etc.).

Cute, small campground with lots of amenities. Our site was not very level from side to side which made the first step into our camper way too high. The site was very spacious though which made up for it. Staff escorts you to your site and helps you back in. The pool was huge and had tons of lounge chairs. Game room, mining sluice, bike rentals, ball maze, and playground for the kids. Exceptionally well stocked store. They have chickens on site and you can buy their eggs!! Right along the highway, but our site was towards the back so the noise didn't really bother me. You can't bring in firewood so you must buy it and then they deliver your wood and a fire ring. Quiet time is 10:00 and fires out at 11:00... not used to that. The campground is very quiet... at times almost too quiet. It was very nice though so we would stay again.

We have stopped on our way to VaBeach for many years. We love the location and the people are always pleasant. Not sure why people call somebody cranky, never has been my experience. In all the years we never seemed to get into the pool. This year we did with our grandsons and it was wonderful!! Second year for the grandsons and we never seem able to fit everything in. Next year, mini golf! The check in procedure is easy and Carl was a very helpful resource for fixing our torn canopy. Accident earlier in the day, long story. So, a nice place to rest our heads for the night. We will be back!

We stayed for 3 nights and had a Wonderful time. The park has excellent wide roads. We have a 42 ft 5th wheel and appreciate that. The staff is very friendly, the laundry room is dated, but functional. Their store is Very Well stocked. There is road noise, but we didn't find it to be too bad. Our site was 50amp, and full hookups. We were VERY pleased with our stay and will stay here again when we are in this area.

I was just in the bath house yesterday and it was in great shape.
There is not a shuttle as we are at the other end of the state from Bristol.
Yes.
Yes you can buy propane all day during business hours. The campground is open everyday of the year from 8am to 8pm. Sometimes they are open a little longer like 9pm. Any questions just call.
They don't have breed restrictions and do have long term spaces. They may or may not have open spaces available, but you would have to call.
No ma'am you can not put the tent on the RV site. But there are Tent sites available in the campground.
1 bath house. Women's side has 4-5 well equipped hot showers and about the same toilet stalls.
Tents are not on top of each other, saw few tenters the two months we lived there. Very nice campground, good staff...
Worth every penny. Have stayed with them a dozen or more times.
It is listed on their website. Different types of sites have different prices. We paid $50 plus tax for the site we had.
Candy Hill Campground is open All Year Round, so YES.
They have sites for all sizes of RV, large or small. You would need to call if you already have a site reserved.
