Buy a new one they are cheap you can get a good blue ray for around 50 bucks
No they DO mot fix dvd players. They would send it to a certified repairer " the factory that manufactured it " and you would have to wait to get it back. The price is almost the same as buying a new one unless you are still within your 1 year of purchase.
