We always highly recommend reservations on the weekend
I guess it depends on the day & hour of your planned visit. As out-of-towners, we dine there when we find ourselves in Hagerstown at dinnertime (either passing through on the road or shopping, etc., in town) & never have needed reservations—altho we did make them once out of prudent precaution on a Saturday night, as they are very popular with the H-town locals & tend to fill up at certain times.
Not during the weekdays.
