$13 for a small drink and a small popcorn is a little much isn't it? Lol.....5 years from now you'll be wondering why you had to close down....highway robbery.

It's the high overhead....the rent in the malls, the wages, the A.C., lights etc. is why you get screwed on food prices..not to mention the cost of the movies they have to buy from whoever

They don't buy the movies. This is fake news. The money people pay to see the movie goes straight to the big movies Production company's. The money from the concession stand is the only money the theater makes.

I got thrown out recently for bringing my own food in. I refuse to pay those high concession stand prices. Besides, I hadn't had a barbecue in a while.

The theaters do not make much money off of movie tickets as a large portion of it goes to the production companies so concessions is their main source of cash flow.

Only stupid people buy drinks and popcorn at movie theatre's.

Wrong theaters do pay for the movie rights and depending on the movie they take big portions of ticket sales too
