I would skip the person at the ticket booth and talk to a manager because they're typically the only people that are empowered to help you and it's going to depend on why you cannot go and typically if you go like within the first 15 minutes of the movie or if the problem why you couldn't see the movie is a screaming child or screaming children and multiple people complain they will typically give you a pass for a movie at a later date like a gift card or something like that but not your money back... If you really like movies as I do and are looking for a way to save on them I have just learned of a service called MoviePass $10 a month you can see one movie a day at almost any theater the only theater between Colorado Springs and Pueblo that I did not see it available for is Mesa Drive-In... But the drive-in experience is something I think everyone should get to experience plus it's really awesome that you can bring your dinner and lunch chairs and sit under some star's!
If you have a Cinemark account and purchase your tickets through the Cinemark app you can get a refund up until the movie starts.
Its very dependant on circumstances. Its best to talk to someone at the ticket booth.
Yes you do just go to the ticket booth and explain to them why, they usually have no problem.
Unlikely, movie seats are like Airline seats, and if you can't make it too bad so sad. Though sometimes they can be very cool about that kind of thing, I would definitely not expect it.
