Nothing compares! You can go to plenty of restaurants in Colorado Springs that have good food or some that just cost money with not much else to offer, BUT nothing compares to Cowboy Star! The food is absolutely outstanding and worth every penny. The ambiance is very classy, with the ability to provide a romantic evening or a professional business dinner all at once. And the service is FIRST CLASS! Our family will go to Cowboy Star for any special occasion, without question.

We love this place! It’s great for a special anniversary/celebration or a girls night out. The food is always excellent and the service is some of the best we’ve experienced at a restaurant in the Springs. The chef gets it right every time! My husband and I celebrate our anniversary with dinner at Cowboy Star every year for the last 3 years and their attention to detail makes it so special…a red rose at the table, a card signed from the staff, etc. etc. As far as the food: The oysters are incredible and always fresh. If you order a steak make sure to add shrimp- they are just as delicious as the steak! We love the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts side dishes. Seasonal salads are delicious and their coffee is the best way to end the meal! You also can’t go wrong with an ultimate burger and a sangria for a girls night. Overall rating this place 5 stars!

The food and service is outstanding! Overpriced. Eat before you go because it will take hours. They will bring little surprise apps out to help you hang on until the food is ready. It’s really good. Here is the closet/room they put us in. Plastic buckets with your $100 steak? No thank you.

The best steaks in town at this price range. Generous portions of everything. This place serves the nicest porterhouse I’ve ever seen (my girlfriend and I couldn’t finish it) and there’s several menu items I’ve never seen offered anywhere else. I ordered the spicy margarita and chocolate chip bread pudding… and both of these items were far better than I had imagined. This place is really snazzy, and everyone is working hard to maximize the experience. One of my new favorites after just one dinner.

Social distancing, tables are marked as being available for 2 hours in order to accommodate other people. I found 2 hours to be more than enough time to enjoy a full course. The food is always amazing and everyone on the staff is very knowledgeable and professional.
Hi Donna, yes there is! We currently have Happy Hour Mon-Fri from 3pm to 6pm. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
4:00-6:00 every day. There are $5, $6, and $7 variety of specials on food. Happy Hour is only available in the bar and lounge area and is on a first come, first served basis, so it is recommended to get there early.
Yes. It’s all marked on the regular menu. At least half of it is gluten free
Hi Amy. The burgers on our lunch menu are only available M-F during our lunch service but we do have a delicious Wagyu Beef burger available on our dinner menu which is available 7 days a week during our dinner service. Hope to see you soon!
I don't think so, we've been there many times in various attire and it's never come up...
I don't feel that at all. There is so much difference in the atmosphere, the wait staff bwas wonderful, and the meat there is far superior than Texas road House it any local franchise restaurant in town. Honestly, the carpaccio is delicious and decadent. It's a great restaurant!
I enjoy when people say over priced when in this day and age butchers who know their craft are hard to come by, it's expensive because Kobe beef is expensive in and of itself and so is dry aged beef, do some research please
