Some services like renewal for a standard drivers license with no address change etc can be done online . If you need to change address or get a real id u need to visit the mvc
We arrived at 4:30am we were number 34 in line we finished at 9:30am the earlier you get there the better
You don't need an appointment, but you will need to stand in line and get a numbered ticket which will tell you when to return on the day. Check reviews to see how long people have been waiting in line for this
