It cant hurt but not necessary unless you are in a hurry. You can hang at the bar or there are chairs outside by the ski slopes to sit while you wait and enjoy the view.
Every reservation it depends on the time you go like every where else. Go a little before dinner and get In and out fast without the wait.

Not really. They might tell you it's a half hour wait. But they usually seat you in ten minutes. The only time I ever waited was on a holiday
